Claudia Smith Opening Reception at the Julia A. Purnell Museum | September 3, 2026. 5-7pm

  • For more than 50 years, the carving team of Steve Ward and Lemuel T. Ward created hunting decoys and decorative bird carvings which elevated them to world-renowned status as masters of “Waterfowl Counterfeiters” and the fathers of decorative decoy carving.

Skipjack Festival & Races | September 6-7, 2026.

5th Annual Crisfield Heritage Festival | October 10, 2026. 10:00am - 4:00pm

  • ​Kid's activities, live entertainment, food, arts and craft vendors and live demonstrations - all showcasing the Chesapeake Bay culture of Crisfield - will be part of the festivities.
